The viewer is immersed in a pod-like one man cinema. In which a show reel of old depictions of the future is screened. The archive is comprised of clips assembled in chronological order. One film represents one year.
The clips have been selected from mainstream films that are set in a specific time in the future. Some examples are:
Freejack
1992 on 2009
Back to the Future
1989 on 2015
Blade Runner
1982 on 2019
Soylent Green
1973 on 2022
Featuring fifty clips, most selections represent a section of the film in which the relevant year is either seen or heard.
